For some wacky reason this shot is just so neat. The point of view is something that I think anyone can relate to especially when you consider the title you chose for this pic. Wonderfully done.

Thank you :) I hoped I could relay the restlessness I felt sitting alone in the lobby of the Greyhound station..... and it was my first time travelling on them too. The first person point of view I used was something I thought might have people looking into this simple picture a little more.

I titled it The Terminal Wait because I sat there for an hour...... before wandering around looking for my bus lol.

I packed light but decided to take my camera along so that I could capture some artistic format while I was gone.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for the Fave as well :hug:

Well...if you read the comment on your journal, here goes with a proper comment...
I really like the almost symmetry of this - the lines on the floor and your feet blend nicely together (in colour as well - nice contrast) and give the picture a very straightforward "these are my feet" kinda look. But with the bag in the middle, especially when it's twisted and a little off center like that, combined with the awkward angle of your feet, convey a very anxious and restless feeling. Using natural colours also helps it seem more 'everyday', which makes it stand out a little more (having flashy brushes and dark or odd lighting would make it more unnatural and give a completely different feel - especially with a title containing 'terminal').
You definitely got the bored/anxious and restless feeling across - the first thing I thought when I saw it was "I've been there"...I've spent a lot of time waiting for buses, many of which never came...
So I'd like to offer another meaning for it, but you did too well at getting the one you wanted across...especially for me...

And there's my first proper comment in a while...hopefully I'll remember to keep it up this time...

I should also mention that I really like the softness of the colours, nothing jumps out harshly...

:) Yeah an unusual point of view isn't it? lol.... I got the idea after about 15 minutes of staring at my Vans. :lol: I don't play with lighting either, just use what's there.... keeps my photos from looking kind of fake or posed, and no brushes! haha..... I don't even know how to use brushes on my pics..... I'd hoped people would relate to it as they saw it too. And that's me... colour coordinated (most of the time lol)

Great shot, i can really relate to this pic

I once spent 13 hours waiting on my own at ampsterdamn airport lol....not a fun time at all.

Thank you :)

Ouch.... yeah that's a while ^^; All summer I travelled up to this small town and back so I often sat in this bus station for 4 or 5 hours between connections.

gawd i know how you feel, i hate it specially when you have obnoxious people next to you asking a dozen questions.

Well I found that sitting in the station on my own... any station really.... there's always going to be the old folk looking lost, the business people with their newspapers and coffee, the little kids that won't sit still and their antagonized parents, and the teenagers who just talk, talk, talk. But all that fades away when I'm by myself and I end up looking down at the floor ^^;
:iconromantic-roadkill:
i just put on loud music in my ears and ignore everything, either that or read a book.
