Depressed 
Fan Expo Vancouver & UpdateFAN EXPO VANCOUVER was an incredible success. Two mind-blowing days in the Vancouver Convention Centre, with a constant stream of fans hungry for a comic con in our hometown. A brand new venue in the new convention centre (which is next door to Canada Place on the waterfront in downtown Vancouver), and awesome warm, sunny days lent it the feel of a mini San Diego for the weekend.
The attendance was apparently estimated at 15,000 to 20,000 people!
It appeared we'd been literally STARVED for an actual comic book convention. There was absolutely no way they could anticipate just how many people would show up, because this was a first year show
| It's always good to start a story near the beginning. You already know my name and I am, for the most part, a professional comic book artist. Personally I'm an adventurer. I like to explore things.... take the long road or the hard one. You miss so much when you take a shortcut. All of it adds to life lessons and experiences. So wherever I go, whatever I do, I try to take my camera with me. To capture the beautiful things that might otherwise be missed, and be able to share it with you. |
